Maximum I got was x45 on blood and dust.
Lower Consciousness: there is a trick. Found it by accident. If one of the copies has self ressurect (death denial) ability - you can kill this pawn (in my case it was lobotomy by ripscanner) and then ressurect. Ressurected one will have no duplication sickness and normal one will slowly cure from it on it's own.
Flesh whip only appearing on colonists missing an arm isn't true. I had someone have it transform their arm yesterday when it was still attached. It's possible it had a scar or something, but nothing serious.
That event can either give you the Revenant or the Cube. If you already had the Revenant event, then it's the cube. And vise-versa.
It can also give you an Unnatural Corpse. That was a fun one to have dropped on me all of a sudden..
Unnatural Corpse Event is so lame though. Study it and destroy it, that's it.
