Rise in memory use
After updating rimworld to 1.5 the game has started using almost twice the memory pre-update; 3400+.
Even with a decent chunk of my mods not updated and trimming it down to 147 from my standard 150+ its running with so much memory use. The thing is before the update my memory use was a stable 2000+, never higher, never lower
"Optimization" my ass, Rimworld is low LESS optimized in my case.

Do you get any red errors from the mods you are using?

One error from yayo's animation,
error from "biomeskit" that pops up twice, XML
error on male body types (but i dont use any body type mods apart from facial animations, the vanilla reskin and reel's expansion)
Small "static constructor" error from deep storage forked for 1.5

I did install rocket man after I made this post and I have been able to play reasonably well, though the memory usage is still near the 3000s

My game is starting to tear and lag somewhat. Noticed that the RAM usage is trough the roof. After an hour of playing about 17Gigs of RAM. I dont know if, or which mod is causing this, since im not getting error spammed.
Is there a mod that lets me easily see which mod is using up the RAM?

Got this problem as well. Would get intermittent freezes every minute or so in game, with my music in the background stuttering. CPU was only around 20%, so I was wondering what the hell was going on. Lo and behold, 12 gb ram usage, completely maxing it out.
I thought it was because I used Rimpy to optimize textures, but I still have the problem after deleting them. Just sitting at the menu takes up 5-6gb.
I've only got a few 1.4 mods and they're all xml files that add items. Everything else is 1.5 and I'm getting no meaningful errors. I seriously don't know what the issue is but I'm hoping something gets updated and fixes the issue because I've spent enough time tampering with mod configs and it's rendering things unplayable at only 10 colonists.

So apparently there was a memory leak caused by Rocketman. It had been updated for the unstable 1.5, but was broken by the stable release. It was just updated for Anomaly today. Fixed the memory leak and all ram issues since then for me. If it isn't rocketman for you then check other performance mods.

i have no issues, but i'm not using mods and i have 64 gb of ram >.>
