Bit of research and video watching can help you in your decision. No need for hand holding.

You should look at the average playtime of people who did buy it and see if 30 bucks is a lot relative to that. Rimworld is one of the lenghtiest, most replayable, and modded games out there.

The only reason you wouldn't want to buy it is if there's something about the whole colony management/tactical combat/randomly generated story combo that you hate for some reason. It can be tough to get into because there are a lot of complex systems going on and more to learn up front than most other games. But once you have some grasp on the mechanics, you'd struggle to find any other game that can do what Rimworld does.

If only there were over 100k reviews at 98% or better over the last 10 years to give you some clue.

The game's unhinged. It contains war crimes, and organ harvesting. Human leather hats are based.

You could spend you money on a Marvel game. I'm sure the graphics will impress you ~ but can you cook your enemies in a giant oven using planks of wood, and a Molotov cocktail, only to eat them afterwards?

The answer is easy. Because RimWorld lets you do what you actually want to do, but other games won't let you.

By looking at your game list. Yes, you will enjoy your 30 bucks.

Games, alright, but it's really repetitive and predictable. The way events are triggered feels scripted. It's not nearly as deep of a game as some will claim it is. Rimworld follows very simple patterns that immediately stand out even to the newest of players.

The only thing that's really good about it's game is how you can customize the experience with mods and game settings. If it wasn't for that aspect the game would likely have died out years ago.

Randy Random story teller is completely unscripted and random in its events generation.

that's what I've done but I'm still hesitating because of the price, that's why I'm asking.

Really though lots of QOL elements are arguably missing from this game.
To the point your more hindering yourself if you DONT use any mods to fix them.
Favorite gripe so far is needing a mod to plant grass in vanilla...

But really though the mod scene has more than enough to suit any complaint or want you could ever need, and i do mean everything...
