It is intended to be better, but there is a good little chunk different between them, as such killathon his self is taking time to care of its comments while me and FG learn the mods changes. Also, asking the general rimworld community instead of the modders who worked on it is a odd choice though.
Also as you said Jigain, do not switch over unless its a new save - enough has changed that it may break the save over time, if not immediately. This should also make it easier to make submods for and keep the mod more stable feature wise is the plan.
From what I can tell it's mostly the same as reforged, who I noticed my androids need coolant and lubricant now. Minor needs but still something.
He did say any future updates will be to the MH version and not the reforged one.
most of the changes are on the backend of the mod, DLL and hardcoding rather than upfront where the player would notice - one of the few upfront changes is the bedside charger and some other items are now in different architect tabs for one of the simple things.
the thing is that modders probably get a bunch of messages a day and im not sure if they are going to read my message but if you think they will respond then in future i will ask them.

I mean - I responded to this and this isnt even in the comments or bug reports of ATR. Also hi, I'm one of the modders who worked on ATR. At least with ATR - FG_Remastered & Myself are constantly trying to help people in comments - just wish we would get less people demanding compatibility for mods that need fixed on their own side - while Killathon - the main developer of ATR and MH its self is currently answering as many questions as possible in the comments of MH currently. (Though he perfers the discord, this is the current situation to make sure he gets information as quick as possible since its a new mod drop)
ATR (Android Tiers Reforged) and MH:AT (Mechanical humanliked: Android Tiers) are 2 separate mods though, do keep this in mind. they will not work together - something not mentioned in the mod description. (not only that every single def in the mod files has been changed so patches for ATR wont work with MH:AT atm)
ATR is a fully standalone mod with all current features baked into 1 download, MH is now a framework build and is a total of 6 mods.
Mechanical Humanlikes Core
MH: Android Tiers Core
MH: Android Tiers
MH: Military Tiers
MH: Biomimetics
Skymind Network
Probably for the same reason people don't need to be told they need to eat. Obvious thing is obvious. Doesn't need to be said in the description.
Fun note - Killathon has stated ATR may never be updated moving forward in terms of content, so no, they wont be the same thing and already aren't the same thing feature wise. (MH has new mechanics not present in ATR already.)
Also - Commen sense is a insanely lacking trait in all of steam workshop, do you realize We have an FAQ explaining why X, Y, and Z happens, yet we constantly get told to fix Z? Or maybe the fact people are still trying to use mods from 1.0 with 1.4 with no updates to it and complaining about it being broken, in the wrong mod page. Either it gets written and ignored, or common sense doesnt exist. we lose in both cases.
