cant research further for nor reason

Hey guys, i am not very experienced in Rimworld and i have a problem. When i researched Microelectronics it told me that some things are not researchable because my people dont believe in it. After finishing i noticed i cant research the multi analysator but there is no reason displayed.

Do you have some advice for a beginner what to do? If its a problem of believing how do i change?

Yes, this is pretty common. All of the research past microelectronics is locked behind the high tech research bench. You need to build one (and make sure it's powered) before you can do any more research.

You need to build a high tech research bench to research multi-analyzer. When you select a tech it will show you on the left side of the research tab what buildings you need to research it, more advanced stuff requires the high-tech research bench and then further on it requires the multi-analyzer built near it.

It should indicate that you need the high-tech research bench / mutli-analyser though instead of "people don't believe in it".

This is something I still sometimes forget, but it's why I try to buy or otherwise gain a couple advanced components ASAP in earlygame. I'd much rather blow a few hundred silver with the first merchant who stops by day 3, than end up stuck researching recurve bows or something until I can caravan off to a town that sells the components lol

You only need those advanced components to get the advanced components production going. The multi-analyser needs gold/plasteel.
