how to sell the art i made

so like vistors come over and try to buy my stuff and things but i wanted to see if therer was a way to offer up my paintings and such for sale as a way of making money and infecting their community with my ideals (last part is more roleplay i mainly wanan make money)

Different traders/settlements wish to buy different things. Easiest way is likely to locate a settlement that wants to buy what you are selling (click a settlement on the map and check what they are buying) and caravan there to sell it.

That said, paintings are not part of vanilla Rimworld, so no idea if whatever mod you are using have added them to any trade lists or whatever the game uses to determine who buys what.

Art and drugs will be bought by most caravan types, modded items will vary but you will still need the item uninstalled (if installable) and in your home zone/stockpiles.

You could try the Trading House mod, which lets you auction items off to the highest bidder. Art is one of the categories of item you can sell.

The game treats it as a type of furniture, and installed furniture is protected from trading, so yes is needs to be the version of the item that has the box at the base of the graphic and can be hauled.
