Shelter for wild independent woman
Recently found a wild woman i want to tame (tough trait high medicine).
Due to this wiman being hamster nature (wants to die every few seconds) i have built a shelter - enclosed area with geysers for warmth, walls for protection and fungus to keep her fed.

if i close the door she tries to break out, if i leave the doors open the predators hunt her.
Any ideas how to protec this insane creature ?

If you arrest them then you can keep them safe in a prison room, and while they are in that prison room you can tame them at your leisure, IIRC.

I've tried that
Players can not time animals while arrested (no food found, probably bug)
If you release them they are running off the map immediarely
Yeah, that was changed at some point. Predator hunting is probably your best option

I think you could also build an extra fence around that room? That should stop the preds from hunting.

Predators are jumping over fence no ?

Maybe try a fence or setting up a couple turrets and micro manage them to make sure a predator doesn't hunt them. If I remember right, turrets shoot things tagged for hunting.

Or just kill every predator.

Accept their death as they would respect, natural selection.
Remember, that woman is human and thus can suffer from loneliness. Be a good person and give her some of womens best friends to keep her company: bears.

Just came up with another solution:
Put them in cryosleep until you get inspired taming.
that's hilarious

Will she eat fungus? That gets a "blech" reaction from anyone without the tunneler meme, but I don't know whether wild animals (which she currently counts as) treat it the same way, so you might just need to put something more edible in there.

Otherwise, how large is the space? You might need to make it bigger so she doesn't feel confined.

I harvest fungi and forbid stacks to be picked up by so she eats them pretty well.
Constant zero mood tho but never seen her having mental problems.

The space looks irreelevant if i close doors she starts "Moving". It doesnt matter if its my big base or this shelter.
When i leave door open she comes in and eats the fungi or sleeps there cause outside temperature is too cold.
Funny enough when wild animal is enclosed it usually breaks the door while moving out, but the wild men just open them, prolly stole keys.

Anyway i managed to recruit her before predators chewed her ass, thanks to extreme desert there werent many.

Wall of a larger part of the map and make sure she is on the inside, then hunt down all the predators in there.
