I've tried that
Players can not time animals while arrested (no food found, probably bug)
If you release them they are running off the map immediarely
Predators are jumping over fence no ?
Or just kill every predator.
Put them in cryosleep until you get inspired taming.
Otherwise, how large is the space? You might need to make it bigger so she doesn't feel confined.
I harvest fungi and forbid stacks to be picked up by so she eats them pretty well.
Constant zero mood tho but never seen her having mental problems.
The space looks irreelevant if i close doors she starts "Moving". It doesnt matter if its my big base or this shelter.
When i leave door open she comes in and eats the fungi or sleeps there cause outside temperature is too cold.
Funny enough when wild animal is enclosed it usually breaks the door while moving out, but the wild men just open them, prolly stole keys.
Anyway i managed to recruit her before predators chewed her ass, thanks to extreme desert there werent many.
