I'm stoked for it, but it probably won't be out for some weeks more
Not particularly. Hopefully it's good and not just a pile or bloat or something. Hype is generally best to be avoided, if it's good then great, exciting even, maybe, if not no skin off my back. I don't actually run many mods that change the game over much so I expect it'll probably be too heavy for my taste whatever the result.

I seem to remember medieval 2 is my last chance to ever play the witcher mod again so maybe, depends on how much of the content overlap and if I can ignore anything that isn't related to the witcher mod

I'm curious what they are doing with the vikings and crypto gear, I've done a number of RP viking playthroughs in the past where the goal was to deck my colony out in crypto stuff but it never really worked out. Finding enough of it wasn't feasible, and it was all low quality and not at all worth using. With how easy it is to get "blood loss immunity" these days they either need to make it much easier to get or change what it does. How they handle that will determine how quickly I'll want to jump in and play it. The other medieval stuff is meh for me, probably.

I'm much more looking forward to the corpo one though. I don't remember what they are calling it these days, arcology, megacorp, corpo, dunno, I think it's changed a number of times.
I'm mostly excited for vikings stuff, because the medieval RimWorld stuff never interested me.
I love the armors, the animals, and most importantly, the bees!

I hope Crypto gear becomes a Vanilla Weapons Expanded mod, because it really doesn't need to be padding out VFE Vikings anymore.
Super excited? Not really, waiting til I can get a new system to really play much again. Interested? Absolutely.
