Melee pawn wont swing weapon
I have a fairly modded game but cant think as to why any of them would cause this, my melee pawn will close in on a target and just stand still while it beats on them. Fists dont work either. I use vanilla skills expanded and simple side arms among others but as far as i know they dont conflict.

Nope, and its weird because up until just recently in this current colony he was bashing things just fine. Its so odd.

Not sure whats going on there. One of the quirks of the draft system is if they had a explicit order for something they won't deviate, even if they can't reach their target. Likely something odd with draft, usually run into it on ranged pawns though. Usually though I don't even keep my melee pawns drafted, they tend to work better placed into combat on attack mode and letting them choose targets. Especially with Biotech super solders 3 of them can dismantle a 30 man tribal raid on their own without my input if it's bow heavy.

It might be something to do with the vanilla skills expanded mod, the duelist specialization lowers melee attack cooldown, once it hit a certain tier he stopped swinging, i took the mod off and hes attacking as normal, for now at least. A shame because i enjoy the mod otherwise.

Is it a modded weapon, or are you using a combat animation mod? Melee cooldown factor is a vanilla stat with a minimum value of 5%, you can make a scenario and try to set it to 1% and it will still lock to 5% and melee attacks will work just fine, though they hit like a machine gun. I can't see how Vanilla Skills Expanded could be breaking it, unless there was some other variable involved.
Was just a persona Zeushammer, he's been swinging fine ever since i disabled the mod so it must be conflicting with something. Oh well! Solved for now haha.
