is there a way to untaint armor and fix it

so like i found a body that was killed by the bugs (killed the bugs and nests) and the body has power armor and i want that armor to be fixed and untainted, can the community help me out with this one?

With the mod dubs bad hygiene you can wash them. In the normal game you can't untaint them.

Mods, nothing else to be done otherwise. Or change your Religion so it doesnt care about tainted stuff (wich should be easy given you can and should create your own anyway)

Some traits like psychopath iirc also negate the mood penalty for the wearer.

Some traits will ignore the penalty like bloodlust (amaizing trait) and found power armour is usually worth just sucking it up eating the tainted penalty regardless. No way to untaint or repair gear though. One of the reasons I so fond of plate armour actually, it's the only armour you can make once and just wear through a playthrough start to finish without ever swapping to a new set, even through archonexus new game plus modes usually.
