Frozen food penatly?
I was wondering if there is a point making a fridge, if you can just make a freezer. Is there any cooking penalty to having to defrost the food?

Nope.

Nope.
Heck, I put the stove inside the freezer and have them drop the meals on the floor.

Yeah, there's a workspeed penalty for being in the cold - but compared to time spent walking through doorways I figure it's a good enough solution.

I know this is dumb, especially since I min-max almost everywhere, but I can’t stand the idea of my pawns eating frozen food, so I only keep emergency stores in the freezer. I keep shelves in the dining room. Never had a problem with anything going bad.

There is a mod (I think it's called thermodynamics) that DOES include a mood debuff for frozen food. You can still make and freeze meals, but pawns heat them up before eating (if there is an available heat source).

That's neat, I think I'll use that from now on. Thanks for the tip!
