Also, if there is any shield left, the attack will be completely blocked. It doesn't matter how much it overkills the shield.
The item itself is not damaged by use, so you will never need to replace them.
To kill someone with them, either use melee attacks, shoot them MORE until the shield breaks, or use EMP weapons to instantly disable any shields caught in the blast radius.
For whatever reason, detonating a firefoam popper or firefoam shell will disable personal shields within the blast radius, which is quite large. Since it doesn't deal any damage otherwise, it's safe to use near your pawns and structures, unlike explosives, and the blast radius is MUCH larger than EMP weapons.
