Try warming their feet.

If you play on a large map, the AI breaks. Medium map should sort this issue in my experience.

I feel your pain and fully agree! We played the map out to the end too.
Just like in real life, it either never happens or never ends soon enough.

If you are set on ending their dilemma, use Dev mode.

  1. Open debug actions menu (First cog)
  2. Add/remove pawn relation
  3. Select one of the "infected" pawns.
  4. Add > Spouse
  5. Search pawn by name

My most sincere condolences.

It really doesn't. There's something else happening here, but it's hard to say without a log or more details.

I've had this happen when one of my other colonists was busy doing something else.

The marriage ceremony started and I had some chores for another pawn to do immediately so I was micro-ing them. Everyone else just wandered around talking like at a party, then the ceremony got cancelled. Been a while since I had this happen though, so maybe not the case here.

The other option is that you have something blocking the Marriage Spot. There are mods that add nice little additions for your Marriage Spot, but some of them might actually block it from being used, so check around it and make sure your space is clear. I generally keep the Marriage Spot, then a 1 square radius around it completely clear of everything but flooring now to make sure this doesn't happen.
