Does anima trees spawn on winter maps?

I can't find one on my map, it's a winter one.

I'm not sure about sea ice/ice sheet maps, but I do know from experience that they will spawn in tundras and boreal forests. If you've been playing the save for some time, it's possible the tree may have been destroyed by alphabeavers , thrumbos, or a forest fire, and if it happened recently then your colonists should have a moodlet called "Anima Scream."

The anima tree has basic requirements to be able to spawn such as there must be arable soil and a safe temperature for a tree to grow. Maps such as sea ice and ice sheet do not seem to be able to grow an anima tree under normal circumstances as they do not meet these conditions.
