Lategame extreme fps drop!
So I use a pretty big amount of mods, but I have a fairly new pc and it looks to run well with the game at all times... Apart from when I've played on a save for roughly 1 week real time.

I just get to a point where suddenly my fps will tank, and it doesn't get any better. I have some errors logged, but they seem to relate to the AchievementsExpanded mod for the most part.

I just need some advice on this, or someone who's willing to spend a bit of time trying to save me from this prophecy of low fps rates every single save I do.

This is a complete copy of my error logs:
https://gist.github.com/89bdcd2d807cf3f2ef2649d2fc94953a

I've tried some different stuff already, such as the usual RuntimeGC cleanups, drafting pawns to see if it's a pathing issue, killing off animals, etc.

And if there's any questions! Just ask them :)

I'll try to post a link to my mods list soon enough.

The colony manager mod can get pretty demanding late game if you you have it set to do a lot of path finding.

IF you have any paths that up speed for colonists walking on them, remove those. They kill your TPS once you have faster moving pawns since the game can't figure out just how much faster the paths are without going in circles math checking.

Management mod is known to kill frams.
Any dynamic temperature map change mods
If you don't have a mod to purge animal breeding/family trees that can overwhelm your cache and save files over time as well. Worse if you have mods for wild breeding on as well.
The more filth you have on the maps (or decals in general) the slower it will get. Either get cleaning or use a 'remove filth" button.
The more jobs you have set on each pawn (so, ANY number/check) adds calculations that over time slow things down. Disable things not always needed, like fire fighting, bed rest, research on all but one/two, etc. The less calculations, the less lag.

Uh... there are a lot more mods that can cause long term lag but off the top of my head I can't remember them.

Thanks man, this helped me exponentially. I did every single thing you suggested and I have no clue which one did the trick, but I assume they all did.

Have a good evening my man :coolskull:

thanks for this info. In fact this go around, i was going to try to get more colonists on crafting, cooking, researching, etc but I see it's better in the long-run for performance to maintain it only on a few colonists.
