forced ideology clothing sucks

as title say im kinder tired of have -4 mood debuff because i dont have the right hood or headwaeps....... -4 seem to damn high, and its damn to high when i need pawns to wear helmet under a raid

You know you can make your ideology to not have clothing requirements, right? You can remove them from a game in progress with dev mode, too.

You can choose to not have required clothing during creation (or alter it later with the dev console or if playing with a fluid ideology)

I find a bit strange that those ideology items counter the royality items in a sense that your royals require certain headgear for example which has the same spot as your ideology gear, I wish it was possible to freely choose the headgear for ideology.

At least the ideology gear requirements for roles respect that; the role requirements are trumped by Royalty requirements when they use the same slot. I learned that in my current game. It even gives you a popup letting you know.

I wish they would have extended that same courtesy to the general ideology clothing requirements.

Yeah my first moral guide usually becomes my highest royal, so whatever I choose to represent the moral guide will likely completely vanish later on in the game, which is rather lame.
