I think the challenge would be to integrate the oceanic content with regular gameplay on land
By that point though they would have to really start thinking about adding actual vehicles the Frame work we have is nice and all but a mod is a mod you know?
Can't really have iland / ocean DLC without some way to navigate over ocean tiles.
Getting some heavy duty suits so you can walk on the bottom of the ocean and make aquatic bases would be pretty cool too, give even more options for biotech usage on pawns. I'd love to keep my oceanic neighbors in a prisoner aquarium between both my hospital and kitchen so that my colonists on either side can pick their favorite (or least favorite) of the lot for food or a transplant.
Oh, Rimworld.
Rimworld 2: Multithreaded...lol (I know the devs would have to rewrite all the code for Rimworld basically)
Now that is a project I could totally get behind.
how big is your colony?
