Multiple lovers

I seem to be having a problem I didn't really think through.

I've allowed my ideology to have multiple lovers and didn't really account for the debuff that comes with not sleeping with your lover. We have one person who is lovers with 3 different people. Will she choose random beds to sleep in if I make a double bed in every room or am I gonna have to micromanage?

They do not switch beds on their own. You can put all 4 people in the same room as long as they are linked by a lover/spouse, it wont count as a barrack and they wont get the sleeping alone debuff anymore. Only two of them are getting lovin' but the advantage of having 4 people in a single bedroom is pretty strong.

Need a mod that creates beds that allow more than 2 people. But I would assume if that was possible someone would have done it by now.

That does not help with the example of OP with 1 person being lover with 3 different people. The 3 different people have no reason to share a bed, unless they are also lovers. In that case you can just use 2 double beds though.

Seems to me that having larger than 2 people in these unions is less efficient from a gameplay perspective. If you have 3 for example, you end up with 1 less person getting the positive mood buffs than if you had 2 groups of 2. The greater the number of oddly numbered groups like this you have, the less efficient it gets.

I honestly more go for the roleplay versus actual efficiency tbh, so it's working out so far luckily

Being able to share a bedroom is still better than a person being solo. Of course those 4 people in 2 separate relationships can get a higher mood buff, but that is not really inhibited by the precept.
