no, we had about a months notice before the last dlc, it was radio silence up til then.

almost certainly they are going to do more, but there isn't anything close to official to support that.

Hi, Ludeon is very very very quiet about their development. Don't expect any dlc announcements until 1 month before release as has been the pattern in the past.

Probably in case they need to completely scrap it. If we weren't promised anything, they can cancel it without backlash or concern

Less likely 'scrap it' than 'deliver a product in a year or so that is different from what they thought it would be today'. It's almost a guarantee a new DLC will come around somewhere in the span of a year from now give or take a few months, based on past schedules.

since this game relys so hard on mods they should get it to a releasable state for each patch then give notice 2-3 months in advance before it drops so modders can be ready for release day

1 month before release the files will usually be on the unstable branch without any of the dlc content or assets so that developers can update their mods for the vanilla features. Compatibility with dlcs won't come until after the dlc's release however unless mod developers are given special access before then.

still a month is a bit of short notice for some modders just a bit more time so more mods are ready to go at the launch of an update i know for the current update it was about a month or so after it came out that enough mods were updated for me to want to play the new version

Here's hoping we get some sort of dlc that lets us visit other planets or something similar. It would open the game up so much more. Wonder if something like this is even possible?

I already barely visit this planet. A world map centric dlc with new biomes, map mechanics, and more in depth diplomancy and factions would be neat though. Maybe slide some water mechanics in there....
