mech low shield ......

any there got some tips on how to take them on them? im starting to get sick have clusters with a mix of 2-4 low shield and a mortar, that bomb my base to ruin, while i trying to fight a hoard of mech thats protected by shields. normale i dont have problem with them. but those damn mortars, kinder force people to rush....

EMPs. Always resort to EMP tech to disable and stun mechs of any kind, before focusing fire on the really dangerous stuff. Assuming vanilla that is, when mods are involved there's no telling what options you may have.

EMPs instantly disable shields of any variety, including if they strike the outside of the low shield.
