My Pawns are standing still instead of working, but only sometimes...
I read many posts of users that already had this issue, yes I am playing on a heavily modded save. I tried looking through the devlog for errors but I feel pretty lost with it. I tried disabling many mods that created issues for other players but its not the same for me even on new saves. This amount of mods makes it hard to one by one deactivate and run it so I beg of you not to recommend that.
This is my error log but it is from the main menu since the devlog wont even open on my saves anymore.

Is it particular pawn jobs causing the issue? I had a problem once where my constructors were doing nothing (current activity: standing) but still got food, did joy stuff, and slept okay. Turns out I'd built a wall light blueprint that could only be reached from one side of the wall, then built a ground penetrating scanner right where that blueprint was. My pawns simply couldn't reach it to build, and started standing around doing nothing as a result. Cancelling the blueprint fixed it. So that's one thing to look for.

If it's other pawns, and I note you have Vanilla Skills Expanded installed, try removing that one. I had an issue where that mod caused pawns to stand around doing nothing after picking specialisations, though I don't know why. Haven't used the mod since.

Just read it and it looks like you are missing Combat Extended
"Could not find type named CombatExtended.VerbPropertiesCE from node..."
Alongside a bunch of errors related to CombatExtended

You might have a Combat Extended patch mod that tries to patch a non-existent Combat Extended

I've ruled out some troubling mods. Removing Yayo's Combat, and the mods that require Combat Extended brought back the Dev Log.

I don't really understand which mod could cause this.

did you fix this? one of my pawns stands still with the build work type ticked, as soon as i untick it, he works, then boom ill tick again and he stops and stands D: hes my builder too D:

nope, I dont know how to fix it, at this point im not even sure if its a mod related issue, but yeah guess I'll have to painstakingly add every mod one by one until it stops working just to find out why this stupid error comes up

i fixed it on my save, seemed to be *Dubs Skylights* was causing it, might be wrong though, but my new run seems okay so far

for me though, it was only for 1 pawn and when the "build" had a priority/tick set in the work tab, if i unticked it, he was fine, hopefully you figure it out on yours!

Use RimPy (or RimSort) if you're not already. It lets you activate mods in advance of opening the game, meaning you don't need to open the game, disable mods, then reload the whole thing again. Saves some time. It also lets you save out the mod load order so you can reload it later, very useful if you're testing for errors since you can just clear everything and test mods individually, then load your active list back up and just remove the offending mod.

From my experience, this is caused by using old mods on 1.5. For me it was Giddy up 2 and it has not persisted after finding an updated version. Disable ALL your outdated mods and try to find updated variants since for me most got them

I already took care of all the mods that were outdated, plus the ones that give extra jobs, I dont know what to do anymore

Some mods can permanently break something in a save, I've had this happen to me with multiple mods, worst one i had was where the entire screen would just go completely pixelated black about 3 seconds after loading the save.

Try turning off every mod that affects AI, if it still persists assume it's permanent for that save.

I turned off every mod one by one, I think its safe to say the save is broken. I still have no way to know which mod causes the problem, so even starting a new run is doomed. I just wish I knew how to identify the error. Thanks for your help y'all.
