Band Nodes, Mech control, and power outage glitch

My mechanitor relies on band nodes for about a dozen of his mechs. During the solar flare event he loses control of them, obviously. Normally, once the power kicks back on he regains control as the band nodes come back online.

But sometimes just a few of the mechs never automatically get back in control, despite him showing that he has the bandwidth for them. It even shows them as using that bandwidth with the yellow pips.
But they stay uncontrolled until I have him disconnect from one, and then reconnect to it. Once I do that, then all of them that were uncontrolled properly synch back up.

This is not the norm, just an occasional glitch I experience. I've had probably 18 to 20 solar flares in this playthrough and it has only happened twice. Just wondering if anyone knows a solution to it other than the manual disconnect->reconnect to a mech method that I'm using.

No one had any input into this issue, but I figured out what causes it. If I save/exit and reload the game during the power outage, then not all mechanoids get put back in the mechanitor's control when the power outage is over, but if I never leave the game during the power outage everything works fine.

Saving the game, exiting to the menu, then reloading fixes it when it does happen.
