Rename is not possible. You can't rename most things when actually completed either though.... Deleting is possible, select it and hit the cancel button.

Not sure what you mean by "update" though...explain?

Can't find the cancel button. But I found out that I can rename and delete some blueprints with a right click, but not all. Strange. Blueprints that the game has named itself cannot be right-clicked, only those that I should give their own name. For example, the game names blueprints itself when it recognises them as a bedroom.

By update I mean, let's say I have a fixed design for colonists' bedrooms and save it as a blueprint. Later I decide that all the dormitories should have a chest of drawers, and now I'd like to update the old blueprint. But I'll probably just have to create a new BP.

Ahh, what you are calling a blueprint is quite different from what the game calls a blueprint I think.

The term blueprint for the game is just the silhouette for a placed construction order.

What you are calling a blueprint sounds like it's a mod added feature. You should specify the mod you're even using for that if you want anyone to be able to help you with that. And also post on the mod's page where you are more likely to get a response from someone who uses the mod.

Oh my... I'm sorry, I totally forgot that I installed a mod for it (Blueprints), you're right of course. I've been using it for so long that I thought it was a vanilla feature. Then please forget what I wrote. I'll have a look at the relevant mod page, of course.
