What's the safe temperature for a newborn?
I have a heater and AC in the bedroom and I've tried playing with the temps to keep it stable and I've tried everything in the range of 60F - 75F and when the baby is awake, I keep getting the notification that my pawns are moving the baby to a safe temperature.

Where the hell does the temp need to be in order for this stupid thing to stay put? I'm tired of my pawns leaving their jobs to go move the baby from one bedroom to the next and immediately move it back again.

What does it say its safe temperature range is on the information sheet?

Click the information button on the bio tab.

Well, the baby is dead so I'm unable to check that at the moment. Apparently the room was too hot, so somehow it got left in my freezer...

I can honestly say this one wasn't my doing. I just didn't notice it until it was too late.

Safe baby temperature should be 60 ~ 80F

I've definitely seen players having an issue where their colonists kept stuffing the baby in the freezer though, but I'm not sure what was causing that. I'm guessing a weird mod interaction.

It's weird, I kept my AC and heaters at 70F and only turned the heaters on during the fall/winter and the AC during spring/summer and they were still constantly shuffling the baby around from room to room.

Only mods I'm using is Wall Lights, CE, and VE.

I'm afraid I'm unsure. Maybe look at the baby clothing and material. Any non-standard clothing or material could be a big clue to what happened.

-90 degrees Celcius at least.

Out of curiosity, was it in a room with frequent door openings in a more extreme weather condition? Heck sometimes one heater or cooler simply isn't enough to keep things in the temp range during extreme events so it could very well be that regardless of what your settings were the room was outside of the temp range even without some type of frequent open door scenario.

Safe temperature range for baseliner babies is -30C to 30C. Freezers are generally very safe for them unless you've set yours to be excessively cold. They can typically only die from heatstroke or freezing if literally everywhere in your base is an unsafe temperature, colonists are pretty aggressive about checking this and will dump the baby in ridiculous places all over the base in order to find "somewhere safe" for them.

Note that just because you set a room to be a certain temperature doesn't mean it's being kept at that temperature, double check the actual values by hover your mouse over a tile and looking in the lower right, or by toggling the heat overlay. I can only imagine your other rooms were being overheated by a heatwave or the exhaust of coolers or other machinery which is what caused the baby to be dumped in the freezer, though how it died I can't say because if your freezer was too cold it would not have been dumped there to begin with.

Ya I have more than once made my freezer a nursery because it's generally one of the more temperature stable rooms in a base on a hot map. It's definitely kind of silly, I don't know why their minimum comfortable temperature is so low, but I guess the assumption is they are always wrapped in that blanket.
