Refugees no longer send thank-you gifts later on?

In 1.4, I would get gifts from refugees a few quadrums after they left if they had a good time at my colony. I assume this was a vanilla feature and not a mod.

I have had at least 8 groups of refugees come and go and none of them have sent me any thank-you gifts later. Have I just been unlucky, or did they change this, or is it a bug, or was this modded behavior that they gave gifts later?

Just unlucky. They still do it randomly.

You're just unlucky, they're still sending gifts. Rates feel pretty normal in my current playthrough, with maybe 1 in 4 refugee quests giving me gifts, and maybe 1 in 10 pilgrimages giving me gifts.
