Can any mechanitor repair any mech?

I have one mechanitor, good crafting skills.
Now, i could install a second one. Im aiming for one of my fighers, so i can use it on caravans.
However his crafting skill is 3.

Can mechanitor A repair the mechs of mechanitor B and can i transfer the mechs between them?

After putting the old revenant down again my second mechanitor went to fix up the centurion that belongs to the first mechanitor.

They can transfer mechs, yeah. You have to right click the mech and select "take control" first though.
