Will someone let me know when this is updated...rolled back to 1.4.
2700hr player here .....I would pay for it. lol...seriously why has this not been added to 1.5?
Ill buy Anomaly when that's fixed.

Imagine being so entitled that you have to whine about the dev not adding a complete cheat to his base game...

It's not really a cheat if it applies to enemies as well as to the player's pawns. Plenty of real time games allow firing guns while moving, ffs.

The vast majority of mods are cheats. Always have been. And it is certainly not a monopoly of this game.

I can't care about what people do in their single player experience but coming into a game forum to try to antagonise its creator over something which is clearly not intended... The fact that your post seem to defend this blow my mind almost as much as OP post.

No, my post defends the fact that if they added it to the actual game itself and balanced it such that the enemy AI accounts for it and also can do it as well, then it's not a cheat.

Which makes your original post moot, regardless of how you feel about the mod itself.

What blows my mind is how you think the game designer, if they decided to add it to the game and balanced it accordingly, wouldn't work just fine. I mean seriously?

The game has changed over time, dramatically, and in many cases those changes introduce mechanics which had already been in the game via mods. Are you honestly claiming that all of those changes are 'cheats'? Because unless you are, you agree with me.

Don't see how its cheat it the AI also use it and its is balanced.
You also get a hit penalty when moving etc.

Thank god this is not base game. Go do your mod thing, free to enjoy your extremely not rimworld combat anymore experience but keep this combat breaker out of basegame.

Guys I'm not the only one who feels that way. If a paid mod was made id pay for the work not saying i need anything free. its not a game breaker/cheat its something overlooked and the developer didn't think of it, no big deal...pay the guy who did it and add it to the game and give him credit...

Some people like to actually play with melee combat in the game, lets just make it completely irrelevant. Enjoy your damn mod and stop trying to ruin how I play the game. So much would have to dramatically change to make melee enemies and colonists not completely nonfunctional. Your mods there and updated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use it.

Of course the developer thought about it, don't be ridiculous. The game had to be specifically programmed to force pawns to stop when shooting, and to disable shooting while they were moving. Saying they 'didn't think of it' when they, quite literally, programmed it specifically to not be in the game is kind of silly.

Just show you do not know what you are talking about.
But that is fine as you do not use the mod, but if you shoot wile moving it give you a hit penalty and slow you down, so any melee pawn will get faster up to you then they would without the mod.

Just won a melee playtrough using that mod, and was fun and make the game feel a whole lot smoother.

But with that said, im fine its a mod and not base game, that makes it an option for people.
And i guss my first 2500 hours in the game was without it :)

I've seen a couple of playthroughs on youtube using it and it was painful to watch. Absolutely hate the mod and will never use it, don't want it baseline, period. I've seen it, I know what it does, and want it as far away from my game as possible. I'm quite happy with base rimworld combat.
