dormant self charging individuell robots

Right now i let the whole group charge or work, but can i tell individuell bots to go dormant? If so how, because i cant figure it out.

I think you'd have to have a second group set to dormant and you'd have to just transfer them to the dormant group.

Thats what im doing, i just started a game as Mechanist.
But i can only have 2 Groups right now, so i was wondering, if single dormant is a thing.

Two groups right now, but a late game mechanitor can easily have 8. Get a couple of control links in their head and not only will your bots work faster but you will have more groups to play with, so long as you can handle fighting a couple of Diabolous mechs and their escorts.

just make a special zone without a charger in it and place them restricted to it they will just go dormant

Like the others said before me writing this. You can set mechs to dormant self charge by setting that in a group and transferring them to said group. You can't tell them to self charge as you would tell a pawn to eat a meal or take a drug by right-clicking. Not without a mod anyways

Lets see how this mechanoid only run goes for me.
I knew it would be slow, but damn, they charge for ever...

You really want to get charging stations setup. Dormant self charge is only viable on combat mechs. It's 1% energy / day, so you'd have to leave them dormant for 100 days (almost 2 years) to get 10 days of work.

Oh of course, but bevore i let them wander around, they might as well charge that little bit.
