Is that new? I swear that wasn't a thing in my last game, although maybe I didn't look hard enough. Well, that's neat. Do pit-gates hide wealth?

Also the mechanoid thing sounds cute. How much crap can a Centipede or Diabolus move at once?

Enter/exit the pit has been there since the start. It just is very easy to overlook, especially since the pit also gives us the option to right click to enter it.

All mechanoids hold the same amount of stuff when hauling unfortunately. They do not actually load up with 100kg worth of stuff like they do when travelling on the world map.

Damn I totally missed it. I'll keep an eye out better next time! Thanks.

A shame but that means I can send my legion of Cleansweeper bots to clean house down there right? That'd be great. I don't really bother with mechanoids much anymore, but I usually like to make my Production Specialist one, and then have them make six Cleansweepers with their initial bandwidth. The idea of using them as little hauling bots down in the pit is great.

Is it a bug, you reckon? It sounds like it might be. How could a little roomba with only a sweeping brush for arms haul a stack of uranium anyway? :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:

Pit gates do not hide wealth anymore

Is there a trick for hauling things to/from the pit though? Sure dumping rubbish on eldritch horrors and stealing their jade sounds fun, but is there a better way to move stuff than "draft colonist -> pick stuff up -> climb rope -> drop stuff"?

Thank you kind sir.

Yeah, flesh beasts are huge pushovers, it's a nice toxic dump.

Getting surrounded by them isn't a real threat, you can melee them all to death, the only issue is taking so many hits so eventually something will land on the brain and cause a "permanent" scar.

Good thing chronophage rituals can fix that too.

I would not say flesh beasts are huge pushovers. They're not hard foes per se, but you always fight ten metric tons of them (beyond early game) AND they have a mechanic that ♥♥♥♥♥ up with your usual melee block strategy AND they constantly mess up your battle plans by reaching your back line.

They're incredibly annoying (almost as much as say, Impid or Waster raiders), I would rather fight any other anomaly foe (even devourers and chimerae) rather than fleshbeasts.

When you get 4 or 5 bulbfreaks in a wave and prefer not to have many pawns, they get threatening, alright. I gotta use more fire against them.

But yeah chronophage is insane. Along with death refusal. Some of the Anomaly rituals are pretty OP right now, I expect some nerfing down the line.
