How to reset research?
Hi I’m new to the game accidentally unlocked all the research progress and felt empty for a while then decide to create a new colony only to find out that the research is still fully unlocked. How to reset it to 0 or where you have to progress normally please helpppp:steamsad:

You might need to reload from a previous save.

Unless you have a mod that autocompletes all research. starting a new colony wont ever have all the research unlocked.
Chances are you still have dev mode and god mode enabled that gives you access to all buildings.

I used a WeMod and accidentally clicked on the unlock research button now even if I start a new colony the research is still fully unlocked

You might need to ask on that specific mod's page. Like XelNigma said, starting a new colony shouldn't carry anything over from previous colonies, including research progress.

Uninstalling the mod should fix it. If it does not, then you are still in DEV MODE and need to type unlock research into the search bar and see if you can undo whatever you did.

Do you think deleting the game and install it back and run it vanilla will undo it? I mean I really didn’t got far to care about a colony

You shouldn't need to do that. You just go to the workshop under subscribed items and remove the specific mod that you think is causing the problem.

Errr but yes, deleting and re-installing a game is a time honored tradition of fixing a problem if you don't know what else to do.

I do not think there is any way to 'un-research', whether with a mod or dev mode.

just disable the mod... then re-enable it if you want to.

I really don't think that is how it works. It is the same as using dev mode to unlock the research.

Turning off dev-mode does not unlearn it.
