I was able to pull through since I had 3 Turbines set up already. Building out into the darkness was a lot of fun. Run out there and place a torch real quick, and then push forward a little bit. Fortunately, I had marked the locations of the thermal vents when I first planned my base.
unless you are living in sea ice biome, there is zero reason why you would run any other power sources other than geothermal or wood/chemfuel generators.
Darkness shouldn't last anyway, draft everyone and remove it within a day or two, no zones required
Toxifiers are way better than wood and chemfuel
You don't use bioferrite for rituals/IEDs ?
Or do you just have dozens of contained entities to make up for the generators ?
There's a huge material benefit to snagging a bunch of entities.
Weapons? Bioferrite.
Armor? Bioferrite.
Furniture? Bioferrite.
Breakfast? Bioferrite.
Toilet? You guessed it: Bioferrite.
I feel like this anomaly was created to give this psycast more potential.
recently I am using more and more chemfuel because its so much more space efficient
Indeed, I had created some floodlights when the warning came and then just added 3-4 pinholes to light the path to every column
