Weird, i tired both modded and unmodded and they seem like they really struggle to keep on top of things they normally would. May just be me being over critical of having to deal with more stuff lol
An example would be, lets say i have something set to 1, they finish that job. Unless i give them a nudge they will stand around and do nothing, even letting prisoners starve with warden set as 2
That would be an error happening. Open your log and take a look the next time that happens. If pawns are ever "standing" for more than a few ticks then it's not the AI doing anything "dumb," it's their next task being bugged and them unable to do it.
If you tested "without mods" by removing mods from a save that had mods and had the issue, that generally does not fix things. If you are seeing issues like this in a fresh save with 0 mods you might need to verify your files.
Nah i tired both a complete fresh install, and a modded one seems to be some kind of breakdown somewhere
Nope it'll just be a task that no one has queued up to do even though they logically should be
What does the pawn's infocard say about the job they're currently doing?
A pawn just standing somewhere and not moving is usually caused by some error in the JobDriver. Try to figure out which job is breaking down by deactivating the pawn's highest priority jobs one after the other.
Also, check the "player.log" file. It's located in "%APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config" (just paste this in the address bar of Explorer). If an error occurred, it'll most likely show up in there.
