Unnatural Darkness Event

That was the most fun event I have ever played through in Rimworld! It was in the middle of winter with a cold snap going as well as a volcanic winter, Temps were around -30C.

I had not yet researched geothermal power, so I had to convert all my lighting to torches and cut power to everything in my base while I researched it. Then had to slowly build lights and power lines to the geothermal vents while fighting off invisible creatures as well as raids!

I wish Solar eclipses would be more like that!

I agree. some of these menaces are more like season defining events than raids, it was really cool.

Too bad I only got it when I was very well established, getting it earlier in the game like you did would have been even more interesting.
