What are the conditions that causes Ideology statue "disrespect"?
For 2 entire in-game years I had large spiritist statues in every room without an issue. I have a Grand Statue in the Shrine room and once I built that they were fine with the Large versions in any other rooms without causing the "disrespected' moodlet.

Then, out of the blue, they had an issue with them and wanted them all to be in rooms with columns too.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what caused them to suddenly decide the large version of the statues needed as much respect as the grand one, when they were okay with it for 2 full years?

I think I figured out my own answer.

It seems to be related to the number of pawns in the colony. When I sent out a caravan the message that they were disrespected went away, as did the mood debuff. When the caravan got back, the disrespect debuff and message came back.

Can anyone confirm it's the number of pawns in the colony? Or is it something else that is indirectly related to that?

Wealth based expectations is what I think you are running into. First they don't care, then they want it, then they want it this way

Ahh, that makes sense. I knew about other expectations that are wealth-based, I just didn't realize this fell into that category.

I bet you're right.

Time to make some regular sculptures. I have dynamic ideology for this colony, so I wonder what will happen if I reform and remove the large statues as an ideological building. Just can't do it to find out, yet. I need more reform points.

No idea, ideology never asked me for statues

The "disrespected" thing appears later on in a colony when you reach a certain threshold, probably colonist count or wealth, and requires a room with a certain impressiveness, floored tiles and columns, that's about it

With Ideology expectations, it's usually based on the number of followers within the colony I believe.

I was actually able to put the sculptures back in all the various rooms after putting a single one in a dignified room. I guess they didn't care if I disrespected some of them as long as one of them continues to be respected.

it wants statues if you have statues as a ideology symbol
