Question about endings

Hello, I've been planning to do the royalty ending on my first colony (easiest non-peaceful difficulty, I'm ready to promote to Count), and I've been enjoying the game so much that I kind of don't want to end it. If I sell my colony for the archonexus map piece, will I still be able to do the ship or royalty ending afterwards, or am I locked into the archonexus?

You can sell your colony and still do the Royalty quest. Geenrally speaking, you can continue to follow all quests...

If you sell the colony you only get to keep 5 pawns and some other supplies or animals.
