Why is there so much archotech in bottomless pits?
I found 2 pieces down there just from scrounging while it collapses. I like that they are making them more available but 2 pieces for almost no risk seems like a balancing issue. Did I just get really lucky or something? This was my first bottomless pit.

You got lucky, my last pit had ordinary bionics and an antigrain warhead that went boom.

You mean the flesh pit? Well you gotta do something to entice players to enter them. I'd dive into a flesh pit long before I try to an ancient complex.

I've gotten 2 pieces of archotech from an ancient complex, or random shrine. That's just lucky RNG, but these things all have fairly similar loot tables that basically just pulls from similar things you get from quests.

Because you can summon the pit through a ritual it makes sense that it is enticing. Even though the pit emergences are quite dangerous and annoying.

I run those as much as I can and I've never seen more than 1 piece of archotech loot in them before. You've just managed to get incredibly lucky. Savor it while I stew jealously.
