Normally I never see it on pawns in the colony unless I put them on trial so that I can banish or execute them without penalty, but for some reason two of my long-term colonists show as guilty currently. The mouseover for it shows when it will expire but not the reason for the guilty.
Strangely, the expiration isn't even the same for the two, so whatever the reason for it, it wasn't the same 'incident' for the both of them.
None of the above have occurred in the colony in several years, not counting visitors/guests and they have been really great about just fighting with each other and not my own colonists.
EDIT: I wonder if ideology rules count, such as forbidden clothing or tattoos?
Does a botched surgery cause both the doctor and the patient to get considered "guilty"?
Damn. I didn't see myself ever wanting to end up in a RimWorld like colony. But now I definitely don't.
I can even explain the reason their guilt durations weren't the same...the doctor botched another surgery on a different pawn a day or two after the one who was also flagged as guilty.
Thanks for clearing it all up.
Can you imagine laws like that where you might get the death penalty if the doctor botches your nose job? People would still do it anyway since you cant place a pricetag on beauty.
I do the above thing instead of using the trial ability sometimes, lol.
