Haven't seen anything like that, but check out SRTS expanded and a bunch of related mods.
I would definitely love to have the Yamato

But what would you even do with them

I use the SRTS ships and others as dropships and/or attack/bomber ships.

Sure, but you can't do that with naval ships

There are naval ship mods but I haven't tried any.
But I guess they are kind of moot. Why use a boat on water when you have flying jalopies?

I think there's even a Mechanoid Naval Carrier on the worskhop.

Pretty sure I saw some frigates and battleships as well.

You may also want to check the RimThunder Series.

I don't think Yamato would fit on the map. There'd also be the issue of, you know, getting her wreck off the ocean floor, getting it operational, and shipping it off to a distant planet to be manned by maybe 1/100th of her normal crew tops.

The anime 'Space Battleship Yamato' comes to mind:

"The inhabitants of Earth secretly build a massive spaceship inside the ruins of the gigantic Japanese battleship Yamato which lies exposed at the former bottom of the ocean location where she was sunk in World War II. This becomes the "Space Battleship Yamato" for which the story is titled."

I also don't think it would 'realistically' fit on the map but a lot of things in rimworld aren't their historical or realistic size. I'm pretty sure centipedes are supposed to be massive hulking mechs but they just take up a single tile for example. The same goes for the mech bosses. They're all supposed to be so massive they wouldn't fit through a door normally buuuut as we all know ... they do.

Reminds me of Red Alert where soldiers are just as tall as tanks, all the units are merely depictions on what is on the field rather than accurate portrayals of 1 to 1 reality.

I don't think centipedes are meant to be that big, but even then there's orders of magnitude of diffference between an elephant or a tank and a Yamato-class battleship, and the crew and industrial capacity that went into the Yamatos is also orders of magnitude more than exists in Rimworld, as would her firepower. If anyone adds a warship, they could at least add something remotely plausible, like Monitor. Still overkill for anything in Rimworld, but she'd at least reasonably fit on a map and could even be fully crewed by a large colony.

I've always assumed each cell on the map was about half a battleship museum curator in length. Given that Yamato was about 132 battleship museum curators in length, she'd fit on a 275x275 map, if just barely. No space to maneuver, though. Even at 400x400, and at full speed, she'd need quite a few maps to turn around.

Monitor would actually fit pretty well, though. I mean she'd still need multiple maps to turn, but not just would she be smaller, she only had 2 weapons in a relatively central 360 degree mount that would probably work well for a RimWorld model. More likely to have the resources to build her, too.
