For people familiar with DLC sale pricing, is biotech likely to go on sale next steam sale ?
based on how sales were handled for ideology and royalty?

You get 20% off at best.

Don't expect anything higher than that, it's not going to happen.

20percent is good. what i meant to ask was, is it likely to go on sale next major steam sale?

It does go on sale with big sales I think. Can't guarantee it's 20% though. Usually it's 10%.

Not sure if it'll be on discount before the next DLC launches.

I keep hearing the same thing over and over again like maybe 10%-20%, but not to get my hopes up, but what I really want is for someone to lie to me so I feel good about the future. Is that too much to ask for?

Someone please tell me that I can be confident it will go on sale for 50% off in the next 3 months, please!

Like when your employer says your future here is looking good, and that you might get a big raise soon. We all know it isn't going to happen, and they just want you to work harder, but at least it gives you hope. Isn't that what everyone wants to hear even if they know it isn't true, deep down?

Soothe us with sweet lies!

Nothing historical suggests Rimworld will go on sale for that big of a discount, but you can always live in hope. In me mean time, you are missing out on probably the best value for money computer game I have ever played - thousands of hours of enjoyment. It is the cheapest entertainment I have ever experienced.

ah well, im not the sorta guy to spend thousands of hours in a single video game (bar one). I just load it up everynow and then because the mechanics are funny and i felt like some variety would be nice.

Rimworld is a second life. You're going to need about 30 to 60 hours for a single playthrough. The game has great replayability especially with all the mods as well. That's why most people easily have thousands of hours into the game and why technically if you're really into this niche of games it is a great value even at full price.

you dont have to sell the game to me. im 200ish hours in and bought it long before the first dlc released.

Your best bet for dlc on discount is through the humble bundle store, especially if you have the choice discount on there

Biotech will very likely go on sale when the next one releases, for 10% off. Royalty still hasn't had a larger sale than 10%, it might drop to 20% after the next DLC.

I would be very surprised if the next DLC did not drop in March, so a Biotech sale should be "soon." If that 10% matters to you.

yea it does. ill wait until the next major sale and buy it for whatever price its on.

fanatical is an authorized seller, the devs even suggest it as an option, and they frequently go slightly lower. its currently -12%. you also buy it from ludeon directly, but i don't think they do more than the normal steam sales. greenmangaming also had biotech on sale a couple days after it came out, so it probably goes on sale there as well.

the sales may or may not be a decision by the reseller, and are absorbed by the seller, but a legitimate way to save a couple bucks is a way to save a couple bucks.
