Help! Colonist keep trying to put dead baby in freezer!
My colonists had a baby and sadly the child was sickly when born and I really didn't have advanced medicine so the Child passed, build a grave ( also a coffin) for child, but any time I try to have the child buried they try to take the corpse to the freezer?

under storage settings / filter for your freezer. uncheck colonists. should be at the very top of the list or the very bottom., cant remember.

I am using only shelves for my freezer if that makes any difference.

Restrict humanlike corpses in freezer area to disallow colonist corpses and set priority of coffin atleast higher than freezer area priority setting.

I hope this helps

do you have all shelves linked with each other in the freezer? otherwise you have to manually reset them

It also shouldn't matter if it is in the freezer, right click with a pawn selected and "bury" the baby. I believe it counts as a hauling job so make sure the colonist can do that.

It matters if freezers has colonists corpses allowed, and have higher priority than graves have.

Random question: If you freeze the child, would rez-nanites work? I have not tried nanites on babies before.

It does because thats why its going there. but I don't know if Graves have a storage priority. If a Grave has colonist ticked, it should be automatic as there is no "priority setting" in vanilla for them.

As in, It goes above critical priority. You can still haul the baby to a freezer, but if the pawn selected is capable of going to the grave (Within area restriction) they should be able to bury it.

Resurector mech serum works just fine. I always have a freezer full of enemies in case I need new chums.
