growth tier reset

Hi,

does a child's growth tier reset when using a growth vat ? he's currently 5 and has tier 4, will it reset if i put him in a vat until 6y59d ?

i believe they reset when they reach certain breakpoint ages, i wanna say your first one is 8 years old? what're you going for with the vat? bunch of quickly made soldiers? or just wanting that kid to be more useful sooner?

the kid is at max growth tier, so i want him to age faster to 6y59, so when he's 7, i choose his skills. Basically skipping dead time when hes at max growth tier. fastforwarding to the growth moments basically.

I want to know if the growth tier resets when i put him in a vat at growth tier 4, till he's 1 day removed from 7.

the max tier is 8 if you care about that. but that is a neat idea, get child to the max, then rush them to the next stage. but, it takes a big chunk of time and learning to max out. Growth tier 4 doesn't give you much to choose from, 1 trait from 4, and only 1 passion from one choice, that'll leave a lot to RNG

growth tiers don't reset by themselves unless they finish an growth moment which happens at age 7, 10 and 13. The max growth tier is 8 and it is significantly better than 7.

However children don't gain points towards higher tiers as fast inside the vat. Yes they mature faster but their tiers won't progress as much.

If you're aiming for the best odds you need to have kids out and learning basically the entire time to hit growth lv8. There are maybe a few days of leeway. Growth tier 4 is for a minimally viable product since you'll get a passion at least at that point.

Growth vats will not reset any progress in their current growth stage, children just do not progress their growth score while in a vat either.

Should just stay mediocre till it pops. Growth vats are more for mass production using genes to make up for skills. If you want the best pawn you can get out of a child it usually doesn't involve a growth vat at all given how much time it takes to hit the growth tiers. Growth vats are great for babies but honestly don't see the point for children, I don't even bother researching them.
