RimWorld

RimWorld

Forever Pregnant??
So I'm using WeMod (yes I know I'm a cheating doofus)... and I sometimes use the F8 to heal up the pawns.

I'm starting to suspect when you do so, it resets the pregnancy for any expectant pawns.

Can anyone confirm?

I do not use WeMod, but you can use character editor to alter/view the progression of things like infections or pregnancy in order to test this yourself.

To test, set the pregnancy to close to being finished using Character Editor, and then heal the pawns using WeMod and then check again to see if it had reset the progression.

If it does, you can just use Character editor to heal your pawns instead.

My recommendation after looking that up, is uninstall WeMod, it doesn't sound like a safe application. Do a virus scan after. Nothing that mod claims it's doing requires the type of application it is, RimWorld allows you to turn on dev mode and gives you all the same tools in game, including healing injuries on demand.

WeMod is not the sort of tool you want hanging around. At least not currently. It's also pointless for RimWorld, because the game comes packaged with easy-access full-on dev tools that the plug-in can merely emulate poorly.

As Astasia said, I also advise running some security checks after it's gone, because I certainly got caught out around the same time. Maybe it was WeMod, maybe it was coincidence, but either way, something to keep in mind.

Just use the dev mode and turn on the option for your pawns not taking damage.
