"Want dame-specific apparel"?

First time I've done much with the Empire stuff, and psycasting stuff, and my Highmate psycaster mechanitor is a Dame now, and she wants dame-specific apparel.

The tool tip says:
- Ladies hat
- Beret
- Any prestige armor
- Any psycaster apparel
- Any mechlord apparel.

She can't wear hats, so those are out. I don't have prestige armor (and it'll take quite a while before I can make any. I've only been offered helmets from quests so far and she can't wear those either, of course). Mechlord stuff is pretty far in the future, unless the mechcommander helmet counts, but it probably doesn't.

But, she is wearing an eltex shirt and an eltex robe, which I thought was psycaster apparel, but apparently it's not. So what is?

Another thing that will be a problem is that, as I understand it, prestige armor gives certain bonuses to psycasters, and I need that, but there's no prestige mechlord armor, so do I have to get a mod for that or does the game have some way to help with it already?

Honestly it's a pretty small mood debuff, usually I just ignore it. It does require the hat/helmet to count as well as the rest. No partial credit.

yeah, the debuff isn't much, I just find the tool tip confusing. If 'any' doesn't mean any, it's not so helpful.

Ya it is confusing to figure out I agree. Could use a rewrite I think. Gave me trouble till I fiddled with it sufficiently too.

What? You need a royal appropriate headgear in addition to a royal appropriate body equipment.

Pretty sure the tooltip if you inspect the royal title in game is this:
One of: Top hat/Ladies hat, Eltex helmet, Eltex skullcap, Prestige helmet, Mechlord helmet; AND
One of: Formal shirt, Cape, Eltex shirt, Eltex vest, Eltex robe, Prestige armor, Mechlord suit

Edit: Also the prestige bonus on armor for psycasting is extremely trivial and not worth worrying about. It's like +5% sensitivity and 0.05 heat recovery. The mechlord armor does not have, but it also has other limitations to balance the fact they are controlling an army of mechs.
