What’s going on in the Ludeon Forums?

Is it normal for general to be not about rimworld at all? Most of it seems to be about casinos or crypto.

I never visited before, so I thought it’d kind be like here, somewhere to just read up on rimworld stuff. There are other forum topics, but I see a peppering of crypto stuff in there too. Is ludeon forums just not as popular?

I looked at it a bit, but all the posts seem to be from 2022 at the latest and it's also very slow. Guessing they just moved to Discord and stopped paying attention to the forums.

Yeah. Kinda sad that's the way things are going. Don't get me wrong, Discord is good for what it does. But forums seem to do some things better. I'd prefer to see both used in tandem, not one replacing the other.

The official forums have been pretty dead since the steam release. I guess the devs/mods forgot about it since nobody was using it, allowing bots to run rampant for months apparently.

The main communities are here and on reddit. I don't know about the discord, discord is pretty awful for finding information or discussing anything, it's usually people making pointless small talk, at least when I've checked other "discord communities."

Same thing in the Rimworld one. Pretty pointless. Not worth joining.
