Classrooms
Is there a classroom role mood bonus associated with this type of room? And are the only buildings for classrooms a desk and a chalkboard? If so maybe I'll just pop down 3 chalkboards and desks

There isn't a mood bonus. You should always have 3 blackboards because of the learning bonus, it really helps to get to level 8 in learning.

Chalkboard, desk, chairs, it's pretty minimal. Can just toss em in a bedroom to add a bit of wealth, or I put them in the prison if there is space.

ok cool. i guess ill make a tiny room, (3 boards and 3 desks) since theres no room role associated with it so no mood buff for having a good classroom.

Not necessarily. They can spend a fair amount of time sitting at the desk teaching, so things like their comfort and beauty needs can drop, and if it's a small room they can also get cramped. It's usually best to set the desks in a nice bedroom or rec/dining room so they can teach/learn in an environment that keeps their mood high. If you want a dedicated "class room" then making it a decent size and throwing some sculptures in there is a good idea. I usually stick with my dining/rec room though since they can continue to chat with other people nearby and it's not an out of the way location.

ah i see. I can see myself doing that early on into a colony but it would bug me a bit to have a ton of buildings together like that, even if its technically more efficient. Maybe ill make the room a little bigger, i assumed it was a quick activity

just put the desk and chalk boards in the barracks or a workshop, no need to make a dedicated classroom
