you can only smooth it, and you can try to smooth "rough" stone walls too, you will see the difference

When you built a floor, you built either a "Tile floor" or a "flagstone floor" Those are not something you can smooth.
What do you mean? You can definitely smooth floors. Can I get an elaboration?
if you really need to, you can even undo and tile with some other tiles, but i often find that just keeping the base going with all the building projects, leads into high construction skill without artificially needing to do something like rebuilding tiles in the same places.
You can also just order them to smooth a large section of a natural rock face.
