Beyond the grave
No ... I'm not asking for undead. But I wonder: What happens if I deconstruct a grave?

I suppose I could just try and see, but I imagine it will be a mess, and I hate cleaning up.

Also, there really ought to be a Necromancer Psy Lance.

The corpse it contains appears, and you can then cremate it to avoid a break: dig up and show corpse to everyone.
I usually bury a few raiders and when I get the 150 granite blocks, I build the crematory and then I deconstruct the graves asap to cremate the corpses.

I have ... well, around 80 graves now. And while I kinda like having them, on the other hand, eventually the entire map will be a graveyard.

So I suppose I'll eventually have to start digging them up =(

I usually bury corpses, but when I get a lot of animals (which I always do no matter how hard I try not to) I make a freezer JUST for non-colonist human corpses for them to eat. And my colonists don't even have to go into the freezer because my animals haul them.

I don't feed animals human meat. I'm not a psychopath, basically. And I know deciding you want the warg's in game doesn't make you a psycho IRL - but I'm not a psycho in-game, either.

=)

here is a tip, make a small granite room set to hold bodies, once it fills up have a dude toss a molotov in, cremation for free!

yea but it doesn't consume a lot of power, it consumes nothing but a molotov and a small-time payment of stone blocks which are easy to make

Yeah, I personally have never made a crematory... Haven't even put down the blueprint before. So I wouldn't know how it works or if it is a power hog.

I assume a corpse pops out, i've never built a grave before. Normally turn them into paste.

You are all disturbingly fine with discussing various forms of exceptional cruelty and disregard for human life.

I bury everyone, and feel bad about the prospect of eventually having to dig them back up.

1. Correct and 2. Graves are a waste of space. All that delicious meat. what a waste.

Well at present I'm not using all that space for anything other than graves. And I'm *not* eating humans - and nor are my pets.

Besides which, I honestly doubt any warg can do what my rhino does. Holy crap that thing absorbs punishment all day long, then tramples invaders to a bloody pulp.

And megasloths are even worse.
