Babies don't sleep in cribs
I'm trying biotech dls for the first time, and I ran into difficulties. Babies simply won't sleep in their cribs, even when sleep levels are at zero.

Cribs are for babies, children sleep in normal beds.

That's odd.
Babies should be taken up to feed and then put in their crib without you having to order a pawn to do so. Do you have pawns with childcare active in the work tab ?

Yes, three pawns

Are they put into the cribs at all or are they just not sleeping? If they are not put into the crib it might be because its too hot or cold were there bed is so put the crib someplace were the pawns think its a safe temperture or use a passive cooler and heater to help. If they are in the crib but not sleeping then I think it might be a mod messing with your game because they should sleep when put into there bed.
Babies randomly sleep, so unless you mean nobody is putting them in their cribs that is normal that they aren't sleeping.

Baby is lying in his crib, and the sleep bar is not being restored, although it is written that he is resting

Only by lying on the floor does the baby sleep and the sleep bar is restored

Even when the sleep bar is at zero? The baby is lying in bed, it says that he is resting, but the sleep bar is not restored. And only on the floor can a baby really sleep and regenerate stamina

That is either a temperature issue (to hot or to cold) or a problem related to a mod interfering with normal rest functionalities of the kid. Have you tried putting a baby into a normal bed?

Check room temperature. Too cold or too hot prevents the baby to sleep and colonists put them where temperature is safer. Even if it's just the floor away from the heat if you're also using the mod proximity heat.

Is that possible? I thought no. I'll check now. I don’t even really know which one mod can cause such problems, I have very few mods and almost all of them are visual in nature (better interface, better camera, etc.)

Even in an ordinary bed, sleep is not restored, although the baby is already crying and wants to sleep. Maybe it's a matter of genes? He has the low sleep gene

don't worry about that...
just keep that tiny bundle of torture in its crib and it will eventually pass out from exhaustion... like any other normal baby would.

all they need is food & playtime, if they sleep thats a bonus...
They're probably like any other pawn -- if they need help sleeping I'm pretty sure you can schedule an operation to anesthetize them which should knock them out for a bit.
