RimWorld

RimWorld

What happened to this game?
Recently returned to Rimworld after having not played it since being bought by Paradox. What happened? So grindy, slow, and unfun. I used to love this game, now it just feels bad. Did Paradox do what it does to most of their games: make them unplayable without DLC. Such a shame what the gaming industry does to games these days.

Do you have any specific examples of changes that you´ve experienced?
As I cannot think of anything dramatic having changed to the base game in a long time.

Must be thinking of Prison Architect.

Bruh i think you are a little confused, the store page indicate that Ludeon Studios is the developer and publisher of this game.

It was bought by Paradox? Who told you that?

Someone sampled too much from the Shaman trader's stock.

Quote from OP in another thread :

"similar to throwing a can of alphabet soup against a wall, you win if the letters spell out a sentence."

3 dlcs for a 6 year old game (since 1.0, 10 since first available). doesn't sound like paradox's model.

I would have asked that too if OP didn't specifically mention Rimworld.

You are right. Still his statements aren't really making any sense...

I'd just like to point out that casual mistruths like this where it appears the author is referring to a different but related entity are a symptom of AI-generated text that hasn't been proofread.

OP does apparently have a history of yelling about PDX, which combined with the bad syntax makes me think this is probably an actual person.

On social media that'd only reinforce the chances of them being a bot. Until I see the inside of their head I'm not convinced.
