Title. No need to elaborate further (I think?), I tried to look on google and Yahoo but found no legitimate websites selling this game for cheap.

You likely won't find any that sell it cheap and legit, you could wait for the next sale where it will be as cheap as it gets for the forseeable future.

10-20% i think? rimworld doesn't go on sale very often

At best a discount of 20% comes around. But usually expect something like 10%.

So if your not interested in buying thinking you can get a better deal later, 20% is all you're going to get in a sale. So if you want to play, that 20% isn't going to be a massive difference. If you're literally too poor then you can be sad to know it's not going to get any cheaper either.

P.S It's well worth the price if you're into this type of game tho.

RimWorld goes on sale fairly often, it's been discounted 8 times in the past year on Steam but it's never been on sale for more than 20% off so if you plan to pick it up on Steam now's the time. The base price has also fluctuated up and down a couple times but not by a large amount.

Edit: I checked a few legit sites that I know of and none of them are selling RimWorld for less than the current price on Steam.

So, when people say the game doesn't go on sale very often it seems like an understatement to me. I put the game on my wishlist and it didn't go on sale at all for like 2 years or more.

Right before Biotech released I said ♥♥♥♥ it and bought the game and both available expansions.

The amount of mods and the ease at which you can get them makes this game have insane replay value, imo.

This game is simply every genre of colony sim you can imagine. Wanna play medieval only? You got it! A wild west playthrough? Sure! A wild west space cowboy playthrough that fights a medieval space dynasty? Sounds fun.

But I am not sure I agree on a common opinion here; that it is worth it.
Sure - it may be worth long term, but short-mid term that really stabs the pocket, costing a whopping 139.99 PLN and 300+ PLN with all the DLCs combined, that's over 2 weeks worth of part time job money, something I am kind of short on at the current given time.
The reason I am asking for sales is because I know that Tynan said regional prices are coming, then came out with increased prices for regions that had such prices adjusted, and I wouldn't want that happening with Poland - I want to buy the game as soon as possible for less than 100 PLN.

Forgot to add; Something like 20% off doesn't even dent the price. it stays at 119.99 PLN after the sale is applied. And the price seems to have increased over the past few months drastically

You can buy it for free if you plan playing vanilla. But you're missing out on good workshop mods. Especially the ones that improves the game or adds even more content to it. The game is technically good enough even without the dlc's if you wanna buy cheaper but some mods might now work for you anymore since some dlc's are needed.

Seriously though, if you're tight on cash right now, buying games should be the last thing on your mind and just save up for now. Especially if you think the game isn't that worth it. Just reconsider buying the game once you have a lot of saved up money.

Game's price will probably not change any lower than 10-20% judging by how long I put off buying the game back then before I finally gave up in thinking that the game will go on sale for even lower.

As previous comments echoed; Rimworld is worth it full price... but if you plan on playing it once and then forgetting about it then yeah; Rimworld is a bit expensive for a Impulse buy.... Rimworld is a resource management, colony survival game.... so is it's price; it's not an 1hr game, a 1hr purchase and not a 1hr price....

I've played Rimworld for thousands of hours... in comparison to its purchase price; it was cheap and 100% worth it.

It's an investment if anything else

Its got 98% positive reviews and has 141,000 reviews. Thats... insane.

Its objectively one of the best steam games ever released.
